BBOD is all about strong, sexy women making it big in a man’s world. “Bad Beauties on Deck”, was created by two talented sisters from different misters, bringing a dope sound and energy to the HipHop/Pop/Rock world. Hard work and dedication along with a passion for expressing their vision through music has helped make their dreams a reality.
Like the world-renowned rap duo of the 80’s Salt & Pepper, BBOD has a unique sound that’s garnering much respect to music execs. SexxyLexxy and MissMoeMoney are, without a doubt are set to become the first female rap duo to make it big in music since the iconic 80’s group Salt & Pepper. Their star is on the rise in a big way.
Radio show listeners voted BBOD as the group they want “Put in the Game” on “Sway in the morning” radio show. BBOD has collaborated with Juelz Santana, Grammy Award winning producer Stevie J and was co-signed by Doug E. Fresh when they were sponsored by “BMW of Tenafly” for the 2010 African American Day Parade.
With 5 years in the business, the girls have cranked out hits like “Dummy”, “Teach Me How to Dougie Remix”, “Niggas in Paris Remix”, “Fire”, “Going Ham”, and “Get Money”. In early 2012 BBOD made headlines when they opened for Rick Ross at the Hammerstein Ballroom, Jagged Edge, K-Ci&JoJo and Lil’ Kim at Paradise Theater.
Not only are the girls gifted music professionals, but they also give back to the community. Thanks to their efforts, Harlem PAL received fabulous mentors for NYC kids. During the annual Harlem Week festival BBOD performed at the Summer State for WBLS kiss and even showed their support of the LGBT community when they performed during NYC Pride Week.
Bad Beauties on Deck is the first female rap group with unstoppable raw talent and undeniable stage presence to come onto the music scene in years. Their determination to empower women worldwide while helping communities right here at home makes them a favorite on the NYC music scene. The best part, the two divas never forget where they came from and always remember to thank God for helping them make it this far. With such great values, their motto “If you can dream it, you can achieve it” is certainly true.
Taking over the TV screens, the two are featured in the current season of VH-1’s hit Reality Show, “Love & Hip-Hop”. As cast members on the show, the two use this medium to showcase and show off their skills as talented artists.
In addition to music and television, Ms. Moe Money, has launched a hair extensions line, Moustachearray along with her business partner & mother, Veronica McNair, and long time family friend Kangela Harris. The ladies sell quality Malaysian, Peruvian, Brazilian, and Cambodian Hair anywhere from 12” to 28” in straight, body wave, and deep wave.
In 2016, BBOD has performed at SOB’s in NYC; NBA AllStar Weekend at Kenny Smith’s annual Bash; CIAA Weekend; and SXSW in Austin Texas.
A promotional tour for their EP, Reality Check” is underway this winter. Promoting their NEW hit singles, “Str8 To It” and “Hell of A Night” is their mission.
